ACI has presented Croatia in Stockholm as the top nautical destination, in cooperation with Croatian tourist boards
ACI has participated at Stockholm Båtmassan Allt för sjön, that lasted from March 4th to March 12th 2017, in collaboration with the Tourist Board of Šibenik-Knin County and the Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County.
The boat show Båtmassan Allt för sjön in Stockholm is certainly the largest and most significant boat show in the region and is visited annually by over 80.000 visitors, boaters and lovers of the sea.
The Swedes appreciate very much Croatia as a nautical destination. Although they often have their own boat, due to the distance, they visit Croatia more frequently as guests of charter agencies.
The Swedes love to spend the summer months in their country so they like to visit Croatia in the pre and post season, which is extremely important for the extension of the Croatian nautical season and the tourist season in general. The find good connections by airlines, charter bases, unspoiled nature, content and of course, culinary delights essential.
The visitors of the Croatian nautical paradise booth were given considerably more than just information and presentation – they were offered the complete experience of the possible nautical holiday in Croatia through a comprehensive and systematic counselling. They were provided with information about Croatia as a tourist and nautical destination, with recommendations on air routes and ports, natural and cultural attractions, charter agencies, nautical routes and marinas of the ACI system. Great interest of the visitors was aroused by the fact that by renting a charter boat with a base in one of the ACI marinas they are entitled to a 20% discount on daily berth in any marina of the ACI system.
During the fair in Stockholm a record number of direct online contacts and direct online inquiries to ACI marinas has been achieved.
The international boat show in Stockholm is truly the right fair for the 21st century – the experience of the physical visit has been complemented by an absolute hit and novelty –digital booths of exhibitors on the fair’s website, a mobile application and multimedia contents, and for the occasion ACI was superbly prepared.
Along with many visitors, the booth has been visited by the director of the Tourist Board in Sweden, Mr. Paul Šikić, as well as by one of the initiators and founders of charter tourism in Croatia – Mr. Ted Willes.
In cooperation with the Tourist Boards of the Counties, ACI has confirmed itself once again as the initiator and leader of Croatian nautical tourism. With its participation at Stockholm’s boat show, ACI has opened the door of Croatia, the top nautical destination for the 21st century, to the Scandinavian guests.
