ACI Marinas and Kornati by Ashley Colburn
The best way to see Croatia is exploring the coastline by boat… navigating the beautiful Adriatic Sea. With 22 ACI marinas and 2 anchorages in Croatia, it’s easy and convenient to island hop with their services and facilities throughout.
With the ACI Mobile App and ACI Online Booking it is so easy to book your berth in just a few steps. Simply choose your ACI marina and select the dates… pay, and within minutes you are booked.
ACI marina Jezera is a great place to start your journey on the island of Murter- an island than can be accessed by a bridge from the mainland, highway and two nearby airports, Zadar and Split. This fishing town is quaint and the oldest settlement on the island. While preparing for your trip by sea, this is a great place to explore while prepping.
Kornati National Park is one of 8 National Parks in Croatia. Kornati are made up of 152 islands, both large and small, and 89 of them are on the territory of the national park – there’s no where else where you can find the most unique and secluded bays, crystal clear water and unspoiled nature.
George Bernard Shaw said “On the last day of the Creation God desired to crown His work and thus created Kornati Islands out of tears, stars and breath”.
The island of Zut is home to olives, figs and vineyards, but no inhabitants. You can stay for the night onboard your boat in total peace while enjoying the facilities the Marina provides all guests.
When staying at an ACI Marina Piškera, your entrance ticket fee into the National Park is free!
The island of Piskera is the half way point through the archipelago. The only people you might see are local fisherman, and I’d highly suggest having a taste of the Adriatic once docked for the evening.
