New, lower tourist tax fees in 2019!
At the session held at the beginning of August 2018 the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted a new regulation on the level of tourist taxes for the year 2019 which implies a reduction of the tourist tax fee for boaters of up to 60%.
The advices of numerous boaters, owners and users of vessels as well as participants of the nautical sector in Croatia have thus been taken into account.
Besides the reduction of the tourist tax fee, the option to pay the flat-rate tourist tax for a period of 3 days has also been introduced. It has also been announced that in addition to the port authorities and their branch offices it will be possible to pay the tourist tax in ports of nautical tourism i.e. marinas.
The amounts of flat-rate tourist taxes for the period of one year are the most reduced.
